Questions
How does a seasonal task work?
Type x under each month it is due (for example April and November) and a due day. HomeBook picks the next chosen date after your last done date; doing it up to 14 days early (you can change this) counts for that date.
Do I have to type the last done date?
No. Add the job to the Service Log and pick the task: the latest logged date becomes the task's last done date.
Does it send reminders?
No. Status colours and the dashboard show what is overdue or due soon when you open the workbook; nothing is sent by email or phone.
How is it different from CarBook?
CarBook tracks vehicles (fuel, running costs, services by distance). HomeBook is for the house: maintenance tasks, repairs, warranties and contractors.
Can I use my own areas and categories?
Yes. Type up to 15 of each in Settings; log entries with anything else are shown as Other / not in the list.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email altaitoondev@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase. We'll try to fix the problem first; if we can't, you get a full refund through the store you bought from.
