Questions
What is the difference between margin and markup?
Margin is profit as a share of the price; markup is profit as a share of the cost. A 25% markup gives a 20% margin. QuoteBook shows both for every line and quote.
Will my customer see my costs?
No. The Quote Sheet shows descriptions, quantities, unit prices and amounts, the totals and your terms - never your costs, profit or margin.
Does it work out tax for me?
It adds tax at the rate you enter (a default in Settings, or per quote; 0% for none). It does not know your tax rules and gives no tax advice.
Can I turn an accepted quote into an invoice?
QuoteBook is for quoting only. Mark the quote Accepted and invoice in your own tool, for example FreelanceBook.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email altaitoondev@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase. We'll try to fix the problem first; if we can't, you get a full refund through the store you bought from.
